Interview Practice AI 2.0: What's New and What Changed
6 October 2026, by Ben Gallagher. 3 min read
I've rebuilt Interview Practice AI. Here is what's new, what changed, and what happens to your account if you used the old version.
I've spent the last few weeks rebuilding Interview Practice AI. The idea is the same: practise out loud before the interview, get honest feedback, and get better. Nearly everything else is new, including the design, which now works on a big screen as well as a phone, in light or dark.
Start with any job
Type your job, and add the employer and the advert if you have them. Then answer one real question out loud, or type it. That first question is free and needs no account.
Every answer marked, line by line
Highlights show what landed. A note shows the one thing to fix first. You get a score out of 100, then you try again and see how far it moves.
Questions written for your interview
Add the advert and your CV, and you get questions like the ones your panel will ask, including some about your own experience. Never the basic ones everyone has seen.
A mock interview that follows up
An AI interviewer reads each question out loud and asks a follow-up about what you said. There are no marks until the end, then a report with your top fixes. Your first mock interview is free with an account.
A plan that ends on the day
Add your interview date and each day shows what to practise, with a mock interview two days before and a rest the day before.
Your CV, checked against the job
See which things the advert asks for your CV shows clearly, which are weak and which are missing, with stronger lines to use.
Credits are gone
The old version counted credits. The new one doesn't. A free account gets your first question, questions written for your job, a free mock interview and a CV check preview.
When you want more, a pass gives you every answer marked, model answers, mock interviews, full reports and CV checks. It's one payment, with nothing to cancel:
- Interview Pass: 14 days, £9 (€10 or $12)
- Job Search Pass: 60 days, £19 (€22 or $25)
Every marked answer costs me money, so each day has limits. They're all on the Pricing page, and a normal day of practice stays well inside them.
If you used the old version
Log in with the same account. Your old answers are still there.
Try it
Start with one free question for your job. If something doesn't work, or you have an idea, tell me. I read everything.
