    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using InterviewPracticeAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

    2. Service Description

    InterviewPracticeAI is an AI-powered interview preparation platform. We provide AI-generated interview questions, real-time answer evaluation, voice-based interaction, feedback, and progress tracking to help you prepare for job interviews. The service is for practice purposes only and does not guarantee job placement.

    3. Free Tryout

    Visitors may try one interview question without creating an account. The free tryout is limited to a single question per device. We use browser fingerprinting to enforce this limit and prevent abuse. No personal data is collected during the tryout beyond the device fingerprint. To continue practicing, you must create an account.

    4. User Accounts

    • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
    • You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
    • One account per person. Shared or duplicate accounts may be terminated.

    5. Credits & Payments

    • The service operates on a credit-based system. Each interview question costs one credit.
    • Free credits are granted periodically (currently one credit every day) and cannot be accumulated.
    • Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by law.
    • We reserve the right to modify pricing and free credit frequency with reasonable notice.

    6. Referral Program

    • Registered users receive a unique referral code to invite friends.
    • When a referred user makes their first credit purchase, both you and your friend earn 5 bonus credits.
    • Self-referrals, fake accounts, and any form of referral abuse are prohibited and may result in account termination and forfeiture of earned rewards.
    • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

    7. Voice Features

    The platform offers optional voice features including text-to-speech (AI reads questions and feedback aloud, powered by ElevenLabs) and speech-to-text (you speak your answers, transcribed by Groq). Voice data is processed by these third-party providers in real time and is not stored after processing. By using voice features, you consent to this processing.

    8. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the AI system.
    • Submit offensive, harmful, or misleading content.
    • Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers, etc.).
    • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
    • Circumvent anti-abuse measures, including free tryout limits or referral safeguards.

    9. Intellectual Property

    All content, design, and AI models powering InterviewPracticeAI are our intellectual property. Your interview answers and uploaded materials remain yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing feedback.

    10. Account Deletion

    You may request account deletion at any time from your account settings. Upon requesting deletion:

    • Your account enters a grace period during which you can cancel the deletion and restore your account.
    • After the grace period, your account and all associated data are permanently and irreversibly deleted.
    • Any remaining credits are forfeited upon deletion.

    11. Disclaimers & AI Limitations

    The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific interview outcomes or employment results.

    AI Limitations: InterviewPracticeAI uses artificial intelligence to generate questions and evaluate answers. AI is not perfect — feedback may contain inaccuracies, biases, or errors. AI-generated scores and suggestions should not be treated as professional career advice. You should not rely solely on AI-generated feedback when making career decisions.

    Service Changes: Features may evolve or change over time. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated feedback.

    12. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterviewPracticeAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

    13. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    14. Changes to Terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
